Taylor Swift Joins Travis Kelce’s Podcast to Reveal Album Details
Taylor Swift has officially revealed more about her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, set for release on October 3, 2025. Appearing on her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, Swift discussed the record’s creation, inspirations, and collaborations.
The title track will feature Sabrina Carpenter, adding another layer of anticipation for fans. The album also includes a cover of George Michael’s 1987 classic Father Figure.

No Surprise Second Album This Time
Unlike The Tortured Poets Department, which came with an unexpected 31-song release, Swift confirmed there will be no bonus tracks or second album drop. “There’s not a 13th song, not other ones coming,” she said. “This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time.”
Return of Max Martin and Shellback
Swift also announced the return of Swedish producers Max Martin and Shellback, who previously worked with her on Red, 1989, and Reputation. Calling them “geniuses,” she credited them for some of her biggest hits, including Shake It Off and Blank Space.
